If you feel like you have something to say to the world and still want to earn some money doing so you need to check out John Chow dot com and learn from someone who seems to master such art.

As you probably know, by its very nature a blog on the Internet provides its owner with an opportunity to present his or her - more or less valuable - opinions and views to the world. At rare occasions and with some smart implementation of currently existing SEO marketing tools, lots of sweat and tears, some publicity and presumably some luck, the blog owner can actually earn rather decent income from it. John Chow appears to be one of such talented individuals creating a personal blog which came from $0 to around $2,700 in monthly income in a short period of three months.

So how does he do it? Firstly it seems to this writer that sometimes discarded, rule of blogosphere that „the content is king“ is strictly followed on John Chow’s blog. John always seems to come up with an interesting mix of mostly unrelated articles, ideas and snippets of information as though they just popped up in his head. This keeps the reader on his/her toes as to what will be written about next time when he/she will re-visit this blog.

Another factor to John Chow dot com success is the status of the writer himself. As John keeps reminding his readers, he has been around the Internet for a while now and is not shy to widely promote himself, his products, report on his life and almost literally show us the money. While this highly revealing tactic can be a double-edged sword, it seems to have established John’s status as one of the blogosphere gurus (or a Dot Com Mogul as he perhaps prefers). This obviously adds lots of eager readers who want to learn from John’s success.

And than of course we have the factor of mastering the monetary side of blogging. Even though John Chow dot com started, according to its owner, as a personal blog it seemed to gradually evolve into one big SEO marketing and advertising project. The use of space, mixing and matching of different advertisers, multiple income streams creation and adds placement could soon be presented as a major case study to the potential marketing graduates. John Chow seems to have mastered the trickery of making some serious dough from blogging through various advertising programmes and to his big credit he is the first one to point out his success, show off the monthly earnings and explain how his blog got to the point where it is now (latest hot idea: Review for Linkback).

Could anybody else do it too? While there is no certainty that the success of John Chow dot com can be replicated entirely, the answer must be on the affirmative. The original content can still be found or created and the advertising and monetizing side is 100% learnable if one is willing to put in the hard yards. So that leaves us with the „John Chow status“ factor which of course would be the toughest one to tackle as making a name for oneself takes long years of hard work and credible results.

So if you want your blog to make similar money to John Chow dot com than you better put in few hours of some serious research. John Chow dot com would be a good place to start.

Dear Aspiring Internet Marketer!
Are you familiar with Affiliate Marketing? If that phrase is new to you I suggest you get the book “The Super Affiliate Handbook” by Rosalind Gardner. Here is a link to the book: http://www.i4unow.com/sah.asp

In a nutshell, Affiliate Marketing is selling a product that belongs to someone else. If you make a sale, you get paid a commission.

So how can you do this on eBay?
Most people tell me you can’t. But you can and I’ve been doing it for quite a while now. Now first let me say this. eBay makes the rules. At any time eBay can change the rules and make you change your strategy so just realize this before you get started.

Here is what I do.
I find a product that offers affiliate commission. I then register for the affiliate program and get my special affiliate URL. Next I create an eBay auction or an eBay store item. In my description of the item I make it clear that the only way to pay for the auction is to use a special “Check Out” link. After I have a winner, I then e-mail the Check Out link to the winner.

And that’s it. I don’t have to ship anything or collect any money. When the winner uses my checkout link, I automatically get a commission.

If you want to try this marketing method out, visit my affiliate program for The Pagerank Report. The great thing about The Pagerank Report is its all automated. After the auction closes your customer will have the product within minutes. Once you’ve signed up to the affiliate program, then you will be given your own special “affiliate link which you can promote. Any sales which come through from anyone who visits your “affiliate link, you will automatically earn a commission; in the case of the Pagerank Report, 51%.

Try it out and see if you can make some affiliate commissions on eBay today!
